ReStor

The ReStor lens is an intraocular lens that provides you with a quality range of vision in one optical system. This lens is designed to replace your natural lens, which may be getting harder, more yellow and cloudier with time due to cataracts. Surgery can remove the cloudy lens when the cataract causes enough loss of vision to interfere with your daily activities.

Traditionally, the lens has been replaced with a single lens inside the eye, called an intraocular lens. This lens is usually focused for distance, and patients might have to wear reading glasses. With the ReStor multifocal lens, you have the ability to see near and far without the use of your glasses. The optics of the ReStor lens incorporates a technology called apodizaiton, to offer a full range of vision in a single lens.
